The hotel was built in 1983 and completely renovated in the year 2004. It offers a total of 92 rooms spread over 5 floors, Amongst the facilities count a stylish foyer with 3 lifts, safes, and a 24-hour reception. In addition, there is a games room, a TV room, several shops, a café, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with separate non-smoking area and highchairs for infants. Hotel guests may also take advantage of the public Internet terminal. Room and laundry services are available. Additional services include bicycle hire and storage facilities, a car park, a garage and a playground for the younger guests.

Albufeira is the Algarve’s largest and most popular resort and caters for every type of holidaymaker due to its wide range of accommodation and attractions. It retains a great deal of old-fashioned Portuguese charm in its cobbled Old Town area, but also has all the modern benefits of a region that makes most of its money from tourism, such as great shops and hotels. There are loads of beaches so, even during peak time when there is a high volume of tourists, there are quieter areas for those bringing young children on a family holiday as well as lots of lively beaches set up for beach games and sports. With cafés and restaurants to suit all budgets, from cheap and cheerful to the luxury market, as well as great entertainment for all the family, Albufeira is one of those places that give excellent value for money if you choose to go all inclusive.

Great for holidays all year round

Although the hottest temperatures are experienced during the months from June to August, Albufeira is still very warm and dry during the Autumn months of October and November, but at that time the peak season is over, so the beaches are less crowded and there’s much less chance of having to queue for the water parks or other attractions. In fact, the Algarve’s largest water park, Aqualand, is in Albufeira along with one of the area’s most popular attractions, Zoo Marine: a fantastic zoological park with dolphin shows and a fine collection of other sea animals and birds as well as the chance to actually swim with the dolphins.

Of course, a lot of your holiday time is likely to be spent enjoying Albufeira’s stunning, award-winning beaches and, with over twenty of them to choose from, you’ll be sure to find one that’s just right for you. Fisherman’s Beach, or Praia dos Pescadores, is hugely popular, with a good selection of watersports available, sunbeds and parasols for hire and plenty of restaurants close at hand; it is one of Albufeira’s many accessible beaches.


Nightlife & Events

There are several lively bars in Albufeira, such as La Bamba and Linekers as well as some great nightclubs, which come to life at sundown. The most dynamic clubs are ranged along ‘the strip’, which is how the locals refer to Avenida Dr Francisco Sà Carneiro in the nearby São João district; it’s a very handy arrangement because you can easily move to another club if the one you’re in is too packed or playing the wrong kind of music.

Music plays a large part in Albufeira’s calendar of events, with an international jazz festival in September and open-air concerts of all genres of music taking place in a large square near to the waterfront. Throughout July and August, there are many sporting competitions on the beaches, timed to maximise the participation of visitors. There are a great many other events throughout the tourist season, running from early April to Late October, including several saints’ fiestas, folklore – or folclore – festivals and even a three-day festival dedicated to eating chicken!

What do we do with your personal data?

How and where will your data be processed?

When your credit card details are required as part of the booking process, we store the last 4 digits and an authorisation code. In the case of some low-cost airlines, we will use the payment details you provide to purchase the flight seats on your behalf.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), including (in some instances) where we transfer your data to our suppliers so that they can assist us with providing our services to you.
