With its all-year-round subtropical climate, Maspalomas is superbly hot throughout the summer season from May to September, with temperatures reaching 27°c. It is also a perfect winter destination as from November to February the temperatures still reach highs of 20°c, though the evenings can be quite chilly so ensure you take a sweater.

Relax in the sunshine

Maspalomas is a paradise for beach-lovers. With its world-famous sand dunes that stretch for over 12 kilometres, the Natural Reserve of the Dunes of Maspalomas is a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of vibrant city-life. The western end of the reserve features La Charca, which is a lagoon surrounded by palm trees and provides an idyllic and tranquil getaway. At the south of the reserve is El Faro de Maspalomas, a lighthouse that was built in 1886. Top up your tan during the day or wait until the sun sets to make the most of the camel tours available that will take you across the dunes for a wonderful evening experience.

Activities for all ages

For golf aficionados, there are two main golf courses that demand attention within Maspalomas. Campo de Golf de Maspalomas is surrounded by the famous sand dunes of the resort and Salobre Golf is situated just outside of the city, with stunning volcanic landscapes that are sure to please.

For the perfect family holiday, Maspalomas is home to Aqualand, the largest waterpark in the Canary Islands. With over 50 flumes and attractions, several swimming pools and a mini-golf course, Aqualand provides fun for the entire family.

For nature-lovers, Palmitos Park is a splendid choice for an excursion. Located only 10 kilometres northwest of Maspalomas in a lush green valley, this park is home to over 150 species of birds, a fantastic aquarium and even the odd crocodile. This is an experience not to be missed.

What do we do with your personal data?

How and where will your data be processed?

Any information that we hold about you is stored on our secure servers and all payment transactions are encrypted. When your credit card details are required as part of the booking process, we store the last 4 digits and an authorisation code. In the case of some low-cost airlines, we will use the payment details you provide to purchase the flight seats on your behalf.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), including (in some instances) where we transfer your data to our suppliers so that they can assist us with providing our services to you.
